Have I Shared my NEW Infatuation with Textured Impressions Embossing Folders?

You know I love my Stampin' Up! Big Shot die cutting machine, but I have just recently discovered the MAGIC created by using Textured Impressions Embossing Folders!

I love this card for so many reasons ~ I am very thankful to the SU demonstrator who shared this design with us (my favorite perk about being a demonstrator).  I was intrigued by the faux embossed look of the punched out hearts on the left side of this card (don't you?).  My favorite part of making this card is how quickly the textured Inpressions Embossing folder turns a punched out paper heart into a magical piece ~ the focus!  I think the 3 tiny pearls give this card a lot of class too.  Simple elegance, and easy to make.  Try it.

My spin on the original included changing the punch, the textured Impressive Folder, and sentiment too.

Stamp: Non-Stampin' Up! I found in a small shop.
Card Stock: Pretty in Pink & Very Vanilla
Ink: Soft Suede (I need to check on this - sorry)

Filled with Love Treat Bag

Isn't this cute?  Love how this treat bag turned out. I cased the topper from one of the talented Stampin' Up! demo's in Stampin' Connection (demonstrator share message board). I used the heart stamp from the Filled With Love set, and adderd a rhinestone for bling; attached to a Dove chocolate with mini glue dots. I used my paper shredding scissors (purchased for my crafting needs) on some scrap paper and crinkled it up. Threw in a few kisses ~ cute, no?

Card Stock: Whispering White, Red Glimmer Paper*
Ink: Classic Ink pad in Real Red and Stampin' Markers in Regal Rose and Old Olive.

Stamps:  Filled with Love stamp set
TOOLS: Big Shot machine, Top Note Die, Full Heart and Small Heart paper punches, Rhinestone Gems, Whisper White scraps shredded and crinkled in my hand.

* Red Glimmer Paper - is one of my favorite items.  The Glitter does NOT come off.  Really adds WOW factor you can't see well in the picture - I used the small heart punch.

1st Annual Girl Scout Valentine's Day Cookie Swap

My Junior Girl Scout troop made these 2 years ago, in order to invite a younger Brownie Troop to the school's 1st Cookie Exchange party!  I am still proud of this project and how much fun my girls had making them (and of the party which included a paper craft and decorating bags to hold their cookies)!

Secret Instructions

The 1st picture (below) is of the inside of the cards.  We attached a tiny, envelope (made using Stampin' Up!'s exclusive Big Shot Scalloped Envelope die) to add intrigue and "Magic" ~ Let's face it, one of the best parts about being a Paper Crafter and A Troop Leader is creating that Magic!  :) The instructions were how many cookies to make, how to package (we did 3 cookies per girl/recipe), and how many copies of the recipe to make.

Simple elegance ~ As I said, the girls were pleased about how beautiful their invitations turned out. 

These two card fronts show how easy it is to personalize the designs.  Now if someone would just show me how to better format this blog, I'd feel almost brilliant.  :P
